"Follow My Fingers with Your Eyes"
This is a lovely poem by Adam Possner that came in my daily Writer’s Almanac from NPR. It refers to a person who has had a stroke. Repetitive in a poignant way. Somewhat desperate.
Here is a short excerpt:
“Follow my fingers with your eyes
Index and middle, side by side
To and fro, watch them fly
Follow my fingers with your eyes”
